About I made three images of this scene: one with the red car, one with no cars, and one without the bridge. Does the car add or subtract from the image?

Hi, I'm new to this site, but I think you should remove car and bridge, too much distraction of that beautiful nature.

I don't know... I think that the road and car give the image more perspective... I think that this is a very good image.

Keep posting :-)

Mahalo (thanks) for all the comments. I agree with the consensus. Here's another image taken right after the original; this one without the bridge in it. As you all said, it does seem to draw you in and up the valley more than the original. Vince, this was taken south of Hana, before the unpaved section (if I remember right).

Agree with previous commenters: crop the road and car for a much stronger image. Very nicely seen.

I agree, the bridge and the care keeps my eye glued to the bottom of the photo. If I scroll up and crop the bridge then my eye 'wanders' up the valley.

I would suggest no car or road at this location. As you know the road to Hana is also very narrow and quite artistic. While the scenery here that you captured is fantastic, the road is at it's beginning and not as scenic as you'd like. You could simply crop the entire bottom off and have another fabulous image! Good eye here.
