Debbie. Thanks for the info on your flash settings and your kind words about my pics. I did not use a tripod on any of these photos,as for tips,if you are shooting through bars or mesh then you need to open the apeture as wide as you can, push the lens into the bars/mesh (steadies camera blurs mesh/bars)and be patient. Most of my photos are taken either in the wild,or in the cage with the animals in private collections. Safari type collections are usually better but arrive early/stay late.
I've been noticing the pictures you've posted the past couple of days, I've really enjoyed them. Great job! About my Mimosa Tree Flower, it was with a built in flash on my canon, there was sun shining on the flower as well, an evening west side sun. We have safari zoo around here some place any hints on how to capture these animals on film? Did you use a tripod? Gotta have my tripod, I'm famous for blurred pics (haha).
