John, I read your comment to Antonella saying I was probably wrong aout USM, and your own kind note on my "runner" picture. It's odd that two comments have mentioned cropping closer on the right hand side. I tried this before I uploaded, and I couldn't find a better crop, or rather one I liked better, than this one. If I had cloned out the figure to the right of the tree I might have felt differently, but I don't like to do that kind of thing. About Fred Miranda's site--I came across it last year, and would like to use his intellisharpen and a couple of others. I particularly like his "filters" for B&W from colour originals. But they don't work with PaintShop Pro (ar leas they didn't when I checked back then). I only though "USM" because I have definitely seen this effect as a result of using it. I am now looking at Power Retouche plug-ins, which DO work with PSP.
Hope your joking about the lessons,and you havent seen my windows yet!!!oh gosh. This is an interesting image the fact you have included three seperate elements and they pull together.Nice texture too. Obviously another in the heart series. Micky.
