Incredibly strong and emotive, Sandy. Just wish whatever that is toward the right of the frame were not there... as it seems to diminish that terrific negative space.

You have done it... in more ways than you can count on your fingers... I have read the prior comments, and appreciate that you like the what's it to balance the pinky...
But feel that it could - chould be eliminated, and maybe the left forearm washed slightly and an increase of negative space... here is a quickie But well done!

Great picture, with a good emotional feel in it. I would try to get rid of the distracting thing in the right hand lower corner.

Ah I see Sandy, we certainly are hands on this time.;) I love hands too, they are almost as telling as a face I feel. Fascinating story behind these. Sounds Bonny and Clyde, except his tale turned out more positvely!

Before reading, also I thought that would be better to crop the lower-right part, but what you say gives another sense to the image, therefore I accept it as is, also because it is wonderful and impressive, in my opinion your best. Bye Max

the area on the right was to fit more the title..pry it off..like a little section of this. or of that... i was thinking of removing it for strenght, but it fit his pinky so well i decided to keep it..
this man is the gentlest person you could ever meet really. he was all of 17 when he did his deed. instead of the pen he was sentenced to 20 some years in a state facility by his mother.
i wanted to share so much this character i find him truly to be a treasure. thanks again everyone. :) hope all is well

Lots of stories in these hands! Nice drammatic photo! Bravo! Agree with Marybell. Lower right looks a little out of place. Thx again for your comments Sandy! Always looking for ideas for the eventual remix. (In the event of actual print happening... whee!) Cheers!

give me somehow the impression like being choped off and exhibited (the more after your story of the man's life) and still greedy for life ? :)

thank you ...fiction indeed could not be more interesting than the real story that lay within these hands..
twas once a bankrobber. in the late 1930's. killed the teller quite by accident...he has quite the nervous condition. was in pen for 25 years. when he got out he was a janitor at a hospitol for 20 more. he retired and they gave him a nice gold dipped watch... and where has he been since?
that's doesn;t matter really. he really is a good soul. that i can leave you with. :)
