Beautifult timing and expression, real but abstract quality make for an interesting image. Its as if she were really on the floor and you added in the bed for the touch of unreality. best bill

The title just makes this for me...I think especially because she looks as if perhaps she hears someone at the door...I kind of like how the cloning worked up at the ceiling - a hint of dark wings or at the very minimum the angle of the wall...the other places - yeah they could be cleaned up -
for some reason, perhaps my mood, this makes me feel sad - a longing...

Awesome shot Sandy! I particularly like the light and shadow around the girl, and I think converting to B&W was the right choice.
If you want to clean up some of the noise, try NeatImage. It works really well and they have a (somewhat limited) free version (available here: http://www.neatimage.com/index.html?q).
Hope all is well w/ you- keep shooting.
Regards,
David

Excellent timing and a very nice fun shot, Sandy. I've done that so many times, together with my younger sister. SHE (fortunately not me) had bad luck one day, when the legs of her bed broke down! Good cropping and PS work

The same thing happens in Italy, we say ?When there is not the cat, the mouses dance?. Sincerely I liked also the original photo, even if this one has a different impact, more similar to a nice dream than to the reality. Bye Max

So fun Sandy! I should know, I was a addicted bed jumper as a kid.:) My Dad found out when the springs on the bed frame were hitting the floor! You got rid of the extras in the room very well.

I thought it was completely a PS work, it is nice to read it is not and the girl is just jumping, however it has a great surrealistic mood Sandy, very nice

A great fun shot sandy, I agree with Roger in that it appears reminiscent of an illustrated children's book. The desaturation and ethereal lighting around the girl in contrast with the cold reality of the bed suggest her jumping from the real world into one of her dreams, somewhat Peter Pan-like. You could perhaps strengthen this notion with some more PS playing around if you wanted to. You've done a good job cloning out all the things that were in the room, but if I wanted to be picky I'd say just a little more smoothing out would make this even better.

this photo had a bit of cloning out of objects... but otherwise...it was a jump on the bed that i caught with flash..
kids are a blast and do not easily tire! when asking my friends to jump they are willing only for a very short while... this is the beginning of my caught in motion series...something new i have been playing with. soooo very much fun!
thanks for looking.. :)
