This photo is very beautiful. I like the heaven and the composition is perfect. A really good black and white work to.

A moon above a piece of something coming out from the water... That's exactly what I see. Good composition, but then, no emotion here for me...
The fact that the water was blurred by the probably very slow shutterspeed has erased all textures on the surface... No choice of course, but then, what's left ?
So, I see this as a minimalistic image... Yet, that minimum of information doesn't strike me as truly great. Of course, the picture looks quite nice, but to me, this is one of these cases where less is actually less. I may be wrong, but this is what I think. Best regards.

WOW, this is so nice. That sky is spooky, and beautiful. I love the glow on the water and the wispy vaporous clouds almost hiding the moon.

I am a colour person, but I prefer the B&W of this. Nice lines, great tones, lovely light on the water... it sets a nice mood. Love that cloud cover!

Joffre,
Hey, It's not a moon rise over hernadez new mexico, but I like it! Grreat tones and just great aon everything about it! I cannot think of anything to criticize on this except I love it! I think this is a large format camera you used, if so what size of film did you use in it? Later my friend,
Russ

Thanks, Steve! Hmmm, yours is a hard question ... I'll post the color one tomorrow, then you can tell me. It has some wild colors, as you'll see, but the B&W appealed more to me.
