Greg I really like this shot a lot and the desaturate w/ slight color only adds to the beauty, not always easy on that "magenta aspect" - so my pick is this one posted rather than the pure desaturate -- this is the kind of photo you can definitely experiment with, burn for more drama...have you tried the blur and smudge? -- TY for your comments, well done my friend! Amazing portrait. I love the odel's expression. It's just so mesmerizing. I can't tell what emotions she's experiencing. Btw, I have a slight preference for the desaturated version of the pic.

Thanks for your BW/Color comment, I do like mixing like this, however, I haven't fully resolved my use of color in this one, I really wanted to keep some color in the hair, it was quite cool - but the right side and far left background are not so hot. Here is a desatured (with a whisp of color left) version
