At least you did get there eyes focused and you can see them, I've learned from mistakes about the "eye thing". Did you use a flash? I took some photos for a young couple for their prom and although they turned out nicely, could have done alot better had I captured the eye area better. So, even tho the background is a little disturbing, which you will notice as I've started doing, I love the facial area. Glad to see you've chosen Usefilm to post. I love this place, the people are kind and full of great advice. Also, Cathy, you should visit Sylvia Jones's portfolio, she is also a grandmother, her site is beautiful, she's really nice, and I made a new friend, even tho she lives on the other side of "town", "country" she is really great!
forget the tech crap.......will nailed it..........Could tell you ten things that are wrong with this but who cares......cool image.....next time thing light....anticipate........
Wow, I just posted this and I have comments ... ahhh technology. This photo happened upon me at my brother's house. I was just hanging out with the kids, snapping candid photos of them being together, and these two wanted to "pose" for me. This was their pose of them as best friends. How could I resist? Will's comments about the expressions is right on. That's how these two are. The one with the 'i know something that you do not' expression has something special about her that really comes through in photographs I've made of her. There are 4 little girls and I've been photographing them since the day they were born. They've become so used to me & my camera that I am able to capture a lot of their natural beauty without posed looks to the photographs. Thanks for the great comments.
