Can't go wrong with this view. I'd recommend getting more of the coastline to lead the viewers eye to the lighthouse even if it were to bring the horizon to the mid point of the frame vertically. Adjusting the contrast of the image via photoshop would reduce the overexposed look of the image, but that is a nit.

Ya' know-- this is the way lighthouses look most of the time, and this captures the mood of a wet sort of stormy winter day at a west coast lighthouse. Lighthouses being sort of a photographic cliche' are usually overdone in a dramatic way. But this one is refreshingly real. Nice shot! Cheers. Craig

some one opened a window and lets a cold breeze in as i looked at this pic. it realy added to the mood as i soaked up the atmosphere
