Artie,I see what you mean on the other flower,That green leaf you said draws your att to It at lower right had a worm on It and I tried taking It off, But worm or not that leaf still would have stood out.Yes It could have been camera shake too It was hand held.I should Know better by now!!
This one I shot off a tripod I like the shadow on the left of the flower, dof I think Is better In this one? But The shadow inside the flower I think takes away from It, I did not get the affect I wanted..I don't think this Is bad but I think It could be alot better.. Thanks again to you and everyone who has been trying to help me..
Well thank you very very much artie and gary, I sure will keep trying to do even better.. I would not have gotten that Image If It wasn't for all the people on this site that has helped me, I thank you all!!!! PS. I have looked at both of your pictures and I can see I have a long ways to go yet..
WOW Jackie...................big difference.......... Framed beautifully.........DOF BANK ON.....I too like the shodow on the side of the flower it adds depth and a nice seperation between the flower and the leaf....the shadows inside the flower only add to the dimension of the flower and its not really shadow but shading.......it allows the variation in tones you have in this flower..makes the highlights really stand out...Excellent image Jackie and one to be really proud of............Now you set the bar all your stuff has to be better or at least as good......GREAT JOB
