Je crois qu'il s'agit d'une fenêtre plutôt que d'une porte, exact ? Sinon, ces plantes me feront vraiment peur !
Je trouve l'exposition exceptionnelle ici, elle est essentielle dans l'atmosphère de l'image. Il fallait vraiment ne pas surexposer les taches de lumière - quelle maîtrise. Dans cette pénombre, je me sens vraiment à l'intérieur de l'image,

Pat,
I agree with Jeanne that boosting the contrast just a tad more would be good but otherwise this is a lovely autumnal shot with beautiful dappled light....I particularly like the diagonal of the heavy vine going above the window...

beautiful beautiful beautiful -- love the composition, just lovely. Think I'd squeeze just a hair more contrast out of it to really show off the midtones. But that's me, and I'll certainly take this as it is :)

Patricia; this is beautiful! I love the dappled lighting, the composition w/ the big vine over the main subject, and the door is great. Of your photos, this is certainly one of my favorites. With the vines and leaves etc. it looks like the door hasn't been opened in a hundred years-- but who knows?-- a bit of mystery? Re the mistake in Rating, I think you know it happened to me the other day too and I over-reacted, ie wasn't smart enough to know it was just a simple error-- you're handling it with much more dignity;>. Really nice photo!
