Yeah, definitely. Like this one a lot, wow. Mystery of expression, close cropping, contrast etc. It'd also be interesting to see a version with a slight grain on the face instead of the streaks. It's not that I don't like the effect, but I think this is easily a strong enough image to hold its own without further adornment. Maybe with some slight cheekbone defintion similar to what you've done with the other facial features.
Very rough start attached (as I don't have original to work from)...
