Thank you all for the comments. Kevin, I took this photograph on the trail to Black Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park (reasonably high altitude, so it is a bit stunted and windblown). I took another shot in color, without the IR filter, but it was completely lifeless. I'm still learning how/when to use the IR filter, but I'm pleased with the results so far.

I have never been a B&W fan. This one is beautiful. I would have tried to move that fallen tree on the far right...then shoot it. Excellent job though.
