These birds must be used to seeing you down on the wharf, they are starting to pose! How can these scavengers keep so clean? This one looks as cuddly as a soft teddy bear but I bet he'd pluck your eyes out if you made him mad. So, don't get so close. Birds are a little scary, I always think of that Alfred Hitchcock movie where they attacked everyone on the island. Anyway, nicely done.

Great picture! Good angle, just enough to catch the other eye. I like the subtle change in hue, subject to background. [we all know you shot and stuffed him before taking this, just so you could get the great angle]

Eheem.. Well I did presume that it was was her Lady The Gull Of Lidisfarne. She does not particularly too stuffy in this portrait. Carole, and a nice portrait it is! Looking good! Nice and sharp with good colors. Excellent pose and good back round. Love it Carole!
