Greater DOF and a bit of table, for some slight break in background. Not sure it works, but the DOF is more interesting. It does kill the poem, though.
The DOF is good here, not sure about the table in the upper corner though, it does break the background, but it also disturbs a bit. As for the poem, it is useless this way indeed, maybe repositioning might help, bring it more to the front.
