this is a very original image of a familiar sight. the original cropping really makes this stand out... it reminds me of those old photos of the workers working on building some of the fisrt skyscrapers... great!! thanks for your help with PS on the shot of "hairdoo".. i'll try it myself! thanks :)

I never noticed the missing shoe until I read some of the comments, I like the subjects being darker the attention is clearly on them and you have done a great job with the exposure, a great image - Richard.

Some photographers always go for the "decisive moment", but I think you go for the "interesting moment"-- I love the chickens head-- and of course The Conversation".

Ah, what fun! I have not a single complaint. I love the one who's about to go out of the frame -- really nice capture here.

I love all the parts of this, my eye keeps finding new things to see. It's busy but happily so and conveys everything inherent in the amusement park experience. For some reason I imagine it with word balloons coming out of everyone's mouths (including the chicken) and they are all saying funny things, kind of like those pop-up videos on MTV. I notice in your bio that you have a darkroom, I may have to pick your brain some day as I really want to build one. I am currently eyeing all my empty spaces to see where I can paint the walls black, install a safelight and bolt an enlarger.

nice idea, but imo you should better crop on the principal subject of the pic, to focus interest on it; nice pic anyway, regards - marco

humorous with lots to look at - I like the rooster - I agree with Brian it does seem a bit dark in the faces but I imagine this was a difficult shot to get...

That building in the background gives this a surreal feeling to me. Just not your usual backdrop for amusement park rides. Excellent capture Patricia.

A lot of good humour in this one. Married with children? Or is it two brothers? I keep wondering why one of them has no shoe. It makes me smile. A lot of things going on, but your shot is well concentraded on the couple.

the subjects are just a little to dark to make this a very good image, but the very busy comp. is in focus and interesting to navigate.
