Would it not be nice to have some 'backlighting' here... and see what you get... it is still very pleasing... and as a PS Post Scriptum not big at all, while the faults in the background plaster work... works as well

I, too, feel that the lighting is maybe a bit too flat here. Some shadows will add a splash of character and give the eye something to roam around in. Nice work of life and death.

It's a good still ife, but I'd like to see a little shadows in it.

I don't think they are crowded. I do think that you could play around with levels and curves to get the wall whiter and have more contrast in the image. Yeah, and clone out the indentations in the wall, or use a different wall ;-)

love this purely because i'm not a flower portrait fan - it goes right against what most people are trying to capture in this catagory - genius
(in my unflowered opinion it is not overcrowded - slight crop to the left???)

Nice composition, very original in B&W, I like the way in which the flowers are disposed, only I think that the background is a bit dark, I can see some holes and the flowers don't stand out completely, furthermore there is no enough room between them and the border of the photo. But a nice image in any case :-) Bye Max

b/w floral shot is really difficult. i suggest a stronger directional light to create some shadows.
