It was very cold and windy two winters ago. I was beginning to go stir-crazy. I was caught up on work in my office, and I wanted to take some photos, but it was just too miserable outside. I photographed a close-up of the inside of a red abalone shell in the sunlight which streamed through a window onto the foot of my bed.
Nicely lit. The facets glow in such a manner that my eyes just focus on one thing, and then something else catches my eye and it turns into a whole new picture. The lower right hand corner seems to be lacking the same vibrance as the rest of the shell, though. Still a very interesting image~!
