About Used the rock and tree as framing elements. I have had differing comments on whether there is too much sky, or too much rock on the bottom. What do you think? Thanks

Beautifully framed, John.

I used the computer window to play with the cropping, and in my VERY humble opinion, I think you would not vastly improve the image with a crop. Yes, you could even bring this down into a square image, but would it be better? Personally, I don't think it would. The sky is a lovely color and I would keep it since it's not a vast expanse. The lower rocks don't add much so if you wished to tweak by cropping there would be no loss beyond placing the horizon really really close to the middle.

Over all, I admire this image and your eye for seeing it. Good job.
