Thanks Nick. You're right, I think the burned part is adding more live to the photographs! :)

Up to eome strange deviations (like diffuse "clouds") here and there it works very very well for me, Kanishka! A great timing you had for getting such an interesting moment burned on the image, which otherwise might have flown unnoticed. The exposure balance put a very good light on the image and it enhanced the atmosphere.

It also kept many good details on many shadows and highlights but still there are also great strog contrasts. I am especially amazed by the good plasticity of the face of the woman. Her expression of looking somewhere into nowhere stands out quite strongly this way. There are only some pixelated contours, like for example on her profile or on her right arm, and this disturbs the view a bit.

The composition is very "alive" to me. There are diagonals and depth and so the protagonists is really in a scene and not in vaccum, which of course has to be on such images. It makes the fact visible that it is a person in a certain place. Even the guy at the right contributes to that.

A very nice shot that has a bit of a documentary and a bit of everyday life. (Which at the end might be the two faces of the same coin.)

Cheers!

Nick
