My Dear Michele!
You cant imagine how much your shot make me happy and pull me in my childhood times. When I was a little I imagine that I will be a big men in the future. But now I understand that I am a big boy. I have a one of the small replica of this airplane attached to the ceiling of my room. Thanks for your share. I wish you a wonderful and happy new year.

Michele, This plane is a DC3 which was an early passenger plane prior to WWII. During WWII it was designated a C-46 and c-47 and served as a passenger plane as well as for freight and to drop paratroopers. Many are still being used today. BILL

I did not get a lens kit with my camera - It - just came with the 50mm that was on it - Is that it ???
It was not cheap either - did I miss out on something or just not understand ?
I want to learn dear Julie You know that and I wish so badly we had a school here in this town where I live - BUT no school and much natural beauty - hard to get it all in one place I guess ----

Very interesting Michele. I am somewhat of an aviation history buff. I have been to Kitty Hawk NC about 10 times. I think the Wright brothers are one of the most interesting people in history. I also teach avionics at our local college. I really enjoyed your photos at the Spruce Goose museum.

Yes dear Nicki !! You would love this museum - the planes are hanging from the cieling so I just stood under to take the picture and shot up to the ceiling - the only problem is that there are so many sometimes they are too close to each other to get a good shot of just one plane-
