Hi RG, I know what you mean. I am trying to concentrate on trying to go market some images to stimulate my economy. Some of this is time consuming and I find myself spending time I could better use editing and working on my images. What a great learning experience though. Hope you had a great weekend. Thanks Dave, the Aspen leaves fascinate me with there intricate patterns and colors. Like snowflakes,there are no twins. I appreciate the comment as always. Thanks Brigitte, not sure of the exact cause of the color variation other than the pigments in the leaf and the way they deteriorate after the frost. I have seen many incredible patterns in the Aspen leaves. Glad you liked this.

Excellent --- wow, what a freak of nature to have done such a strange thing to that leaf. I saw exactly what is present in that one leaf while in the high sierra, however it wasn't just to one leaf or one tree. I saw brown leaves on several trees, then all green on others and finally some gold on a few others. Do you think it is freezing weather that causes the leaves to dry out and become brown?
