I like the model and pose, I like his facial expression, but that is me. the tones are good in this photo. Like Amy said, crop a bit off the top there is just a little too much headroom. Good job
The little guy's unhappy face kinda puts a damper on the whole photo. Added to the fact that you can see the shoulder arm of the person behind the tree holding the tyke up, I would rate this as one of your less successful attempts. Aside from that, the lighting looks OK and the tree just behind the child seems to be in fine focus.
