Life... you're doing amazing with your camera, kiarang. you have the talent, and you know why youre doing it, it's just the point that ypour works are hearty.
The simplicity, here, is awesome, but however, at the same time, makes me hurt! I cant find any better word!
Bravo!

Yes Kiarang, the homes of the men before and after. Both in "Life" and "Cemetery" there is a substantial connection and as well a photographic, iconografic likeness. Beautiful both photos.

Is that a real building, Kiarang? Anyway, it is not only good for its monoton pattern on a very strictly reduced color palette, but also as a small abstraction from real world where people live side by side. A minimalistic image that is based on the extremely complex interrelations between people, relatives, friends, neighbors, and so on.

Perhaps a bit more contrast? (Attachment)

Good work!

A final comment - its very interesting to note that the politicians/architechts/engineers who plan, design and construct these featureless and lifeless monstrosities very, very seldom live in them thereselves!

your comment is valuable for me!

Joggie van Staden Joggie van Staden   {K:41700} 6/27/2008
Wow Kiarang! I find this a very strong image - especially with the Title which leaves it open to interpretation! To me it speaks of humanity which is kept hostage by its own inventions - "The Life" has become NO LIFE! Within these gray walls people has to eek out a living in confined space, like ants in a nest - No freedom and scarcely a pint of fresh air to breath, no real freedom, souls bound up in square holes!Fine work my friend! 7/7

Hi Aziz, why not starting today fostering traditions and native culture. That of your own and that of others. That is modern as well as it is just starting today. Try to get outside these buildings others created for obvious reasons.
