A very crowded cemetery. I hope that the relatives can find the grave of their family. Besides that it's a wonderful picture. gr Femke

Nick Karagiaouroglou Nick Karagiaouroglou   {K:127263} 6/27/2008
It looks quite surreal to me, Kiarang, much like a field with plants of stone, or the surface of a strange region that fancies like a puzzle. The strict color palette enhances the pattern in which the small pavilion is a welcome break of the almost uniform look. Perhaps the pavilion could be less centered horizontally? I think that this would retain the pattern but also introduce a more enhanced depth.

Cheers!

Nick

Unusual location, great crop and amazing collection of tombstones, but lack of a living person is bothersome.

I love it. It has an abstract feel to it and I'm thinking that is what you were going for. It definitely is an "alternative perspective". It's as if all of the headstones were on one plane. You managed to make a three dimensional world look two dimensional. Excellent eye. Thank you for sharing!
