I wish could have AJ, I got yelled for getting as close as did...LOL. The botanical gardens here don't allow you to use a tripod as well so it is pretty tough to get very close without steping on places you shouldn't....haha.

Excellent shot... I like when the colours are powerful... and so here the oranges from the wild rose... and I like when the focus and sharpness are powerful too in macros and so here... need something else? well...yes, the reso from your photo... I can...cut it! :-D

Excellent pink Julie, very good detail and very good balance of light. The details of the petals of the rose are very well defined. The drop gives a special detail. The blurring of the leaves is very well done, the pink stands out more. I think it's a very good composition, a photo very fresh and pleasing to the eye.
