I love big waves, getting wet all over, great fun!! I was very close at the right side before, but as my lens was getting sprayed all the time I moved out there, to be sure to get a better shot without drops on it;))
But when I was on Creete in 2006 there were big waves as well, all the chairs and beaches were gone, just water, not good for tourists, but I loved it;) Hope you will show some waves too one day!! xxJen

From you it is wonderful to hear my dear Hussam,
it also was an unforgatble holiday with my sweet
daughter. She still wants to go back there, it was
like paradise, swimming, horseriding, they even have a hockeyteam there, so we will go back for sure:))

Thank you so much my dear Stan, it was the best holiday I ever had, so really happy with my daughter, the caribbean islands are always in good weather, no winter or cold...we really would love to go back there one day...

A big wave excplosion... and thanks God you are not very closed hahahaha.... kidding, but surely it's an amazing moment and I always hope to have some bad weather with strong winds JUST to see some waves at the port or everywhere, excellent moment... I bet that is many many meters high...

Hmmmmm.....yes, the sound of water against rocks and beaches, making you lazy and happy, some people get tired of the sound, it relaxes me, sleeping on boats, so great! I was siiting aside first, getting really wet as well my daughter, so had drops on thee lens all the time, then stand in front, great view, very exciting, there were also some nice lizzards, so had to share my interest;))))
Hoping you had a great time in Deutschland, a new lens for your camera? lolll
You are so right to enjoy your days off, is Joe all well?? Sleep well my dear friend and sweet dreams to you, my daughter will have difficulties going back to school after 2 weeks off;))

This remembers me really on my last trip dear Jen:)))) I can almost hear the splashing from this huge wave!!!So wonderful the deep blue water at the background!!!I guess that you were sitting just on front of this beautiful scenery??
Sorry for my late comment but yesterday I was in Germany the whole day with the whole family and today I was relaxing on my terrace and I did nothing...LOL!!!Tomorrow I'm still off:)))!!!

No, my camera isnt waterproof at all, this one was broken after a while when I was in Africa,
I let it fixed but also bought another one, I
cannot take heavy stuff with me, but regret I didnt buy a better one in stead... But they have these casts you can put around it, for me a better option maybe...lolll

It took some time to have the right timing for this wave dear Julie, they come and go so fast!
And of course spots on the lense wiping off and starting again;)) For me lots of fun, I cant even get the sand of the camera anymore from Ireland:)

The waves were loud and clear, time after time,
they hollow out these rocks from inside, there
were places where you could walk underneath the rocks because of the power of water.....and the blue, intens colour is so fasciniating, as we dont have anything like blue water, just brown and dusty as you might know:)

When I can find spray waves, I'm there...lolll
As a kid I loved to play in the water, no swimming lessons, just jumped into the water and
learned myself, being brought up very strict and
straight with religion, so no sports, music or tv, nothing doing on Sundays except church, for me it was like jail, sounds strange maybe, but it was!
It chained my creativity, just not in my mind..:))
So, I was so happy to catch up all this and still do, thats why I really and deeply enjoy life and also comments like yours, thanks a lot my dear friend:)) You touched my soul and heart,
