Absolutely gorgeous! Your photo self- portraits are lovely, but something about the simplicity of this style really catches the eye. I don’t see it as dark at all, only as contemplative and classically beautiful...

Perhaps you could increase the intensity by looking to the camera; the eye contact will create a personal relationship with your audience; as we see it now, the viewer sees that you're distracted and distant. Just a humble thought.
