I prefer the previous shot because of the way the light outlines the form of the dragonfly. The texture of the background is better too with the lower angle of the light! Eb
Thanks, Eb. I have attached another shot of the dragonfly at another spot later in the day - the focus and exposure is better in this one, though since this was an afternoon shot, the shadows are a tad bit distracting - hence, between the two, I prefer the previous shot.
Beautiful use of juxtaposing texture and line! Lovely - you could not do better, even with a composite. The rim lighting on the dragonfly accentuates the lines and gives such good separation from the background! Eb
