I took this playing with my camera, aggitated my dog behind my privacy fence. (Hes a Saint Bernard) and he kept looking between the slats. Got this capture and kinda liked it, I did not think it was dramatic enough so i did some de-saturation to it and I liked it. Tell me what you think, I like critiques even if you dont like my photo.
Thanks Greg, yes I like the selective color editing and find myself doing it more and more. Still I am a fan of the old school straight out photography but editing has always been used throughout, even Ansel Adams did it. Not to compare to myself of course lol. Thanks for your help. no, this is a cool shot! even though i'm usually a fan of selective color (i use it myself quite a bit), i'd like to see this in full b&w, because to me the attention should be more towards the teeth than the eye. also, the selective color could be a little tighter around the eye. the shot itself is great though, and i especially love the composition, with the slant of the slats! great job!
