Awesome composition!!! The 1.6 sec shutter speed was perfect here and the timing was great. A secret (in case you or anyone reading this doesn't know) is that when you use the slow shutter by the shore, start the shot when the wave is IN the farthest, just before it recedes! Starting while it's out and coming in has a very different look and is not as dynamic!! This is great!
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

Dear Minoo I am only grateful that you take time to interpret my photos and the thoughts behind them:) Should you on the other hand ever feel like giving constructive critique don´t hesitate to do so. I might be a softie but I can take it when it´s good and polite critiques. What I dislike is people that are rude and treating everybody else as ignorants. This is absolutely not you:-) Thank you once more for your interesting comments and warm support, Minoo:-)

Thanks so much dear Annemette for your detailed reply. The bridge was in fact what I thought would be the subject at first, but then I saw other elements that could also be understood as such. You are doing great with your ideas and representing them. I was not criticizing that at all. Far from it, I am full of admiration for your courage and creativity dealing with such intense and difficult issues and succeeding so wel. My question aimed at finding out whether or not what I understood corresponded with your own. Warm hugs back to Denmark, and wish you a fine weekend, Minoo

Thank you so much, dear Minoo:-) I thought that I´d better upload some photos now! The meaning I put into the photo is rather dramatic using this to show that some of us make our own decision whether to live or die- at least until nature takes over. I hope the bridge that diasppears into the sea and the distamce to it makes it clear. Sometimes it can be difficult to find the right and meaningful images fitting my thoughts. Have a beautiful weekend:-) Warm hugs Annemette

Excellent composition and capture, dear Annemette. The choice of B&W is perfect here. I wonder though, which element is the decision maker. There are three of them that go against the anticipated ways. MAybe you meant all of them. At any rate, it is an excellent photograph, with a strong impact. All the very best, Minoo
