Dear friend...we can talk about the image, the aesthetic, the expressions, the dancers I mean the happy dancers...don't believe it... Do you hear sometime about opera...? I'm a lover of the opera and course PAGLIACCI'S Leoncavallo the artist laughs and inside the soul goes the hard question, is only a painted face.- But the image is melencholic, yes the cabaret is melancholic, and we remember that model borned in Germany at the time of Weimar Republic before de war (and we remember the Fosse film)...maybe that association is what we remember.-
And some ells...the ambient and the atmosphere looks sometimes marginal persons, there are alone each one.- Don't doubt the life is fun...What we can do?
Live in a christal balloon ?.- Is natural that joy moments can be replaced soon by darkness moments.- But the only true is the reality, daily reality.- The artist feel anguish is not an idiot, happiness reflection and creative moments are in the same way, like the threes in the route...they past, one...and other... and other one... are moments.- We must be really happy, we are in other level because you and me and many others like us can think about the life and live, and love...and grow.- We are different...
Is important? No...it's only a description and at the end you know with whom speak about this questions, with some equal...Is a pity the distance Buenos Aires is really far from your city, but is NEAR(LOLLLLL).- Although my warmest wishes for your and as always really hugs.- LUIS:):)

Dear Luis Although the colours are vibrant and there are happy expressions on the faces of the dancers, this image has a melancholic mood(at least to me) maybe because it shows how fun life can be, but sensing also the darkness around them - a moment of laughter and joy soon to be replaced by more dark moments. False happiness to take away the fear. Don´t worry;-) I´m an optimistic person, but as an adult and parent I know that life is not only joy. Warm hugs'Annemette

Anyway, the mood is great and the color very good. I've see you shoot in raw and I've recently began using that, do you think you would have been able to obtain this result in a JPEG format?

Dear Friend...I'll explain always in theatre my exposure is for the HIGHLIGHTS, the I close two stops... and my shots are in RAW format, becuase it have many advantges, with camera rwa we can modify all the parameters, also teh exposure and we can look many details at the shadows and also in middle tones (the information is in the raw file...) it's obvious that the shadows will be low expossed and that is NOISE...not grain...(are two different things...) We speak about grain in analogical film, we speak about NOISE in digital image.- But my friend...always in theatre photos with tungsten light there are some NOISE, although in this case I add MORE monochromatic noise with PS for give a dramatic effect, for me the grain is an aesthetics resource I use and abuse of it.- Sorry my friend my reply is too large, but in photography there are not secrets, and I like teach what I know to my friends.- Olypmus E1 is other thing...I've not experience with Olympus, but the digital market in two years morwill be more clear about the cameras.... Warmest Regards.- LUIS

Josep
