Dear Luis It certainly looks like a very fascinating place. Once again we cling to the past, the old rustic ways that seemed more soulful than in the present. Maybe modern life is comfortable, but leaves a gap in us because we have moved too fast ahead. Just a thought. Yes, I remember the photo with the bed - one of my favourites. Yes, sometimes we have plenty of ideas but time leaves no possibilities to do them, other times we lack ideas and have time to look at the blank paper. Life of an artist:-) It´s nice to live in the present without worrying about time, to be enthusuastically engaged in art, but that also makes time run fast because we get lost in space for a while:-) Argentina - well I have for may years wished to visit Antarctica and also Argentina, so I would be very grateful having a good photofriend to show me around:-)Thanks for your kind offer. Take care Annemette

Maybe those two GAUCHOS (are the famous men about your comment), really it's look like a museum.- Is and old general country store, now for tourist.- The place is SUPERBE full of old details, like bottles or advertising wallpapers, old tables, also the chair, a old bed (in my portfolio there is a bed alone...is of that place)
You can imagine is like the story was stopped there, and yes Mr. Passion is there, that happy smile is like I'm.- My anguish appear when I'm in creation crisis...I mean when my images not come quickly to my mind, and the other is the only, a real limit THE TIME...yes the time ...As time by go...Well my dear Annemette I know that I have there a good lovely friend: YOU... Maybe some day you have lucky and you trip to Argentin I'll take you to that store...Kisses.- LUIS

Okay, this took me a bit by surprise - for a moment I thought that you´re in an Argentinian waxmusum and had settled between two famous men of your nation*LOL* Good rustic surroundings with much for the eyes to explore and of course mr. Passion in the middle with happy smiles and red shirt;-) Be well Annemette

I like the mood in the picture, the interior participates a lot to the hole atmosphere...The expressions on the faces..Wonderful...I like the composition...the last persons at the table, some of the friends have just left...And the colours! I love it! regards! P.S. I love also mate, but i have rarely the occasion to drink it!

Of course, Luis, but visually creates a kind of motionless type of set up scene = un natural! I guess is my poor opinion! Regards, Harry

Dear Paul Hiiiiiii...how are you.- Glad to find you... About the mate...well is an infussion that we drink with a special "cup" (in the image you can see the "mate or the cup" up the head at the left gaucho, near the HUT...OK)
Into the mate(cup) we put some natural plant like the tea, more bitter...at the end a metalic straw (we call BOMBILLA) into the mate hot water and if you want a touch of sacarine or sugar...or nothing) At least we suck in the hot water with the infussion.- We can be hours drinking mate and talking about....te life.- OK Dear Paul...My best warmest regards my good friend.- LUIS

Luis, great shot of you!, so there he is the very good photographer, love your work! I also see that you are drinking De Kuyper gin, as I remember, that drink is from Holland where I grew up, I moved to Canada a few years back! Dirk. p.s: The Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer could have made this painting!
