This photo was not the primary shot. While Mom was sitting next to me watching me work on the baby pic, I threw dad in to the mix. She started to smile, and this is what we came up with before she left.
Love the lighting, great concept, im sure they're very pleased with this and it'll make an heirloom for them. But - all the same, my first impression is that we have what looks like a concerned father looking gravely down on an unhappy baby. Essentially, it really does seem odd to have such a somber image of what would be much more appropriate as a happy baby and proud father shot~
