Thanks Tim, I had kept my cam and the lens in the open for 3 days. As for the flight, it is a long long flight. I took the direct Mumbai JFK flight whe I can to the US. Thats a 16 hour non stop flight. While returning I took the Newark Paris Mumbai Flight , thats 7 + 8 + 2 , that is 17 hours.

hope your flight home is good...man that has to be a long one! As to the camera getting wet my D80 was pouring water out of it as did my lens ( 18-200mm)when a water bottle leaked into my pack. I am using both to this day....they are tough cameras. just let them dry out and it should be ok.

it wAS GREAT TO HEAR YOUR VOICE TOO. My camera got really wet due to the niagara falls spray. I hope my lens and body survives the niagara.

Awesome is the word! Wonderful Drama with the lighting in just the right place. Looks like a wet camera could be a here. I wrapped my camera body and lens with saran wrap or any type of stretchy plastic wrap leaving just the end of the lens exposed...almost water proof if you can keep the droplets off the glass. And you can still see the LCD panel through the plastic.
Hey was great to hear your voice on the phone! I hope you get super shots from the empire state.

The main lighted portion of the falls surrounded by haze is quite interesting. probably the main file is much better.Here at kol also we r surrounded by water Mass.
