About These are my first new images processed from raw files from my new Canon EOS 40D camera. Used the DPP program that came with the camera. Used the 28-135mm lens with zoom for these macros. I do not have a macro lens. Sharpness was not as high as I would have liked. This might be more the lens than camera. DOF was pretty good and the color and noise levels were very good I thought. Any help in DPP processsing would be nice.

Very common perenial flower here: Geranium. One of the few flowers that still bloom in September. Thanks you for your kind comment.
