A book could be written about Mister Caldwell's flowers. He is the male Georgia O'Keeffe, his specimens aggressiive in contrast to her beautiful blooms' passive loveliness (though she did sometimes surprise us, as at http://www.artprintcollection.com/detailPage.php?printID=4795). This one is a virile, wide-awake lion, looking for fun, probably delighting in frightening us he pops onto our screens.

You'll probably get some negative comments about the white background, but I really like it. It enhances the rich red of the flower and makes it pop out at you. I like your lighting work with the shadows since it add a dramatic depth and interest to the shot. Excellent work Andrew. Please take a look at the pink Azalea I did on a white background. Thanks.
