Your comment is spot on Gary,my intention was exactly what your imagination connected with....Laurie Lee's When I set out...immediately sprang to mind when I read your comment!You have to read that book which starts with his childhood in a small English village and follows his and his violin's travels across Spain.Anyway,it was the accordian which first caught my eye,it seemed so old and reminscent of another epoch.
