About
One of the finest sunrises I've seen in nearly two years and a breathtaking example of how transient these moments are. The window of opportunity lasted less than ten seconds and this was the only completely usable shot I captured out of five with no time for bracketing. More light from the sun resulted in chronic lens flare, less and the orange sun path reflecting off the sea diminished to an imperceptible glow. After that the sun vanished into that cloud bank and that was that for the day. Who said landscape photography was leisurely. This by the way is the Bow fiddle rock in the jaws of Portknockie's cliffs.
