Thank you Philip.
I would never intentionally take away from an image. Please remember that I very much like your original... I just can't help myself sometimes when I see possibilities to smooth a little of something out... especially to perhaps, in this case, (IMHO) to further accentuate intensity of already very striking eyes!
Warm Wishes to you, Aniko :)

Hi Philip!
Processing your own film can be a tad tricky. Especially in this day and age with most people saying: "what's film?" ~LOL~ I used to have a few probs with dust spots but eventually overcame them. I don't work much in the dark room these days, but still prefer REAL cameras and REAL film over anything. I often send my print film out to the lab to have D&P lately as I am a busy person and my dark room is COLD and has little ventilation, which makes me feel ill since i always get carried awa and spend too long in there.
I hope you don't mind... I have taken the liberty of "cleaning" this image up a fraction in Photoshop.
What do you think? I made sure I kept the intensity in the eyes. WOW! Very intense. :)
Best Wishes, Aniko :)

thanks Aniko, Most of the effects are from still learning to process my own film. I think I left this roll in the developer too long and got a little too much contrast. I didn’t do a good job of cleaning and drying the negatives and have a lot of dust spots. Most of the roll was not too good but I think it helped this shot a little and added something to the photo.
