A beautiful crop, Leonie! It touches my heart with the that lovely shade of colour on the pattterened petals!In contrast, the center seems to be the reflection of a late sun!Everything's so sharp and clear, up to the laces surrounding the stamens! A real beauty!!!

~~GRIN~~ Annemette... Possums in the garden... They are very cute, easily tamed if you leave food (apples etc), but nocturnal... About 7 yrs. ago, we couldn't work out why our Kelpie dog was sitting on the doormat instead of in his warm kennel beside the door... ~~GRIN~~ A possum had moved in... TD would just look in and wag his tail... He would roll his tennis ball to the possum and wonder why the possum wouldn't push it back LOL... Both our cat and dog were friends with the possums plus the birds...:)))

So Onie....have you had any of the wonderful rain that we have had of late...it has been wonderful :)The crop and detail are beautiful, and I love the way the lines of the petals reach out of the frame...like arms flung wide. If that doesn't make sense, then I am sorry, lol!! it has been a long week...

A lovely flower cropped in an interesting way and indeed looking like a tree almost from this close- I feel like a small insect drawn into the middle of this noneating flower:-)
