The thing I love about this one is the way the different layers of brown tone change from the sky to the bottom of the frame. Light brown, darker and even darker on the bottom. It would look like an abstract without the camels there. I love the way the camels are not overlapping but in line and the lines on the sand. The only way it could be better was if the camels were higher up in the lighter region and formed a better outline with higher contrast. I am trying to improve an almost perfect picture, I realise, because I an a little jealous! Regards...Andrew

The use of late and lateral light help to shape the sand dunes creating a very intersting atmosfere. The animals in the scene help to give a sense of scale to the scene and are in complete harmony with the place.
