Thanks again Biljana, I think he is dreaming of a hunt. These same lions tore a poor deer apart a few days earlier. The zoo is located quite near the Rouge Valley where deer are plentiful. It seems it is easy for them to jump into the lion's area, but not so easy to jump out. The lions are fed well. But will attack anything that looks like it is invading their territory. The way of the wild, I suppose. Andre

Hi Kes, Yeah, I was just sorry I didn't get any with the top lion's mane and the bottom lion's paws in the same image. Andre

Hey Andre, I like the eyes + paws also. A different mood with the eyes shut for sure. kes

Thanks Allen, I did take a few of these. They were not in a hurry to go anywhere :) I think I mentioned this before. I think the optimum image would have been one that included the mane from the lion above as well as the paws and opened eye from the one on the bottom. Unfortunately, it was one or the other. Have a Happy New Year Allen! Andre

Thanks very much Annemette, I'm glad you like it! I didn't think of Narnia at the time, but now that you mention it.... These didn't talk very much though :) Please come back and visit anytime. Andre

A very good crop that emphasizes the cuddling:-) The image gets me thinking of Narnia and the lion and the witch from the fairy tale of C.S. Lewis:-) Best wishes Annemette

Hi Peter, I tend to agree with you for a couple of reasons. I like the full profile of the lion at the top. I also think this one might be a bit sharper than the other shot.
If only the bottom lion would have had that one eye open and the paws were showing like in the other frame. That would have been really nice. Andre
