Yep, still sorta breathin'. Haven't really gotten any new toys for my EOS... I seem to be copping fairly well with my 18-55mm, as I haven't really done too much with any wides.
Super impressed by this series, Todd. Excellent work.

Hey Morgan,
Glad to see you're still breathing. I've been playing with some new toys, as you can see. Weather here has been awful and I've just recovered from a 2 week cold/flu. Shooting conditions have not been ideal, but I keep going out with the camera. Hope 2007 is better.
And I hope 2007 is great for you. Best wishes.
Todd

Todd,
Nice shot and I like this re-posted version much better!
You'll be having a lot of use of that lens for astrophotography!

Very nicely captured, even more so that you didn't use a telescope

Hi Bill,
I know the story well. I will never forget my first view of Saturn either. It sure was good to get out under the stars again and start experimenting with astrophotography. I am planning on doing more, but I require more equipment and I'm still a little bent (not quite broke) from all the spending lately. I'll be sure to post more when I have them. Thanks for all your kind comments.

Every time I go outside during the late fall and the winter months I look for this Nebula. Most of the time on a clear night I get out my field glasses to get a better look. One of my greastest memories was the first time I saw Saturn in a big telescope. A friend had just bought a $1500 scope and we took it out just to play around. When we came across Saturn we about lost it...very exciteing. Isn't the heavens a wonderous place to spend some time??? I'd love to see more of these Todd, Bill
