About	Thanks everyone for your comments. I aggree that it would have been much better if the ants head was in focus, it was a tricky shot to get because my model didn't want to stay still. It was a bit disappointing when I enlarged the images later on the computer and realised that even the best (this one) wasn't focussed on it's eyes. I do still like the shot though so I decided to post it anyway. The smallest apperture on the G3 is actually F8 but due to the small sensor size this actually works out to be about the same DOF as F22 on the equivalent focal length lens in the 35mm format.

Light is a little bit to strong, and the head is not really sharp enough... But it's still a very good photo. Interesting, good capture!

I think a little out of focus at his head, try F11 or more will be better imo
