Yes yes, the image look s exactly like I thought it would! I really like the attached one. The dark background adds so much mood and mystique instead of the beautiful old cityscape with the burnt out sky. I like changes like this. If you want to remove the glow you must zoom in and make fine work either by using a slim brush or penciltool. You can use the black once more, or you can take the colour from the roofs. Best wishes, Annemette

Wild thoughts are the best thoughts for arts, Annemette! Why not black sky? Let's see. I tried it, and the attached image is the best I can get. It looks like not being from this world. Very interesting. It reminds me of some old science fiction series of the BBC where almost everything was as usual but still there were subtle difference to our world.
But how to get rid of that glow on the roofs on the altered image? I don't know if it would look better then, but I would like to try that with a completely dark sky without any glow. Any ideas?
These buildings are indeed a cultural wealth and I am only glad that all measurements were taken to keep them intact.
Many many thanks for the nice comment and the great idea.
Keep well,
Nick

I wonder what this would look like if you made the sky black?? Just a wild thought. Nice cityscape full of these magnificent old buildings that should be preserved always. Best wishes, Annemette
