Hi Cathy, thanks for your comments on my photos. A Harvest Moon happens usually late Sept only in the North. It is the full moon that rises the quickest after sunset, allowing farmers more light to harvest. In the south, it would be the opposite, the moon with the longest time to rise after a sunset.
