Thanks Jessie. I wonder how many people know what you meant when you said "some pig"--one of my all time favorite books!

The details in the web are awesome and more than make up for the spider who is still very plain to see. Well done you for this shot taken under very difficult circumstances. Best wishes sweet Marlyce....Ray

That sounds intersting Marlyce ... They have to be vey careful to stay alive I would suppose. Since we have yacked about annimals already and personal in-sigts...I also never kill spiders.... not ever. I grew up in Sacto. where Black Widows are popular . . . and have had many intense moments with spiders. I leave them alone. They leave me alone... but I do appreciate their web work for sure. This was is a beautiful web. Glad you got the picture to share. Michele~

Thank you Susie....I did get nervous when I could not fine him in the view finder....guess thats the main reason I used a flashlight. What is funny is when we walk out to the car in the morning we are waving our arms incase a web is still there.

Klaas, tried to fixed the spider but just could not do justice. The overexposed was probably due to the flashlight I held under the web so I could see.

Thank you Michele. The spider actually got upset with me taking pictures and folded the web, maybe I will put up one of those shots just so you see, it was a strange thing to see.
