Man has not lived if he has lived and worked with his body and mind without heart. The soul is all light, but all darkness is caused by the death of the heart. Pain makes it alive. Wonderful image as always:-) You´re very right that it´s awful that some people never give love a chance in their life because they fear losing the beloved one who- or whatever that is.
All sentiments carry the opposite within - love/ hatred-fear/courage-joy/anger etc. One can only feel at peace when having experienced the entire spectrum of feelings.
