indeed not the usual work, but I like this one in a different way. The closed gate, chains and thorns will stop us but the sunlight gives us hope and maybe we don't have to search any further. The title, by the way, suits your image very well.
Like the tones in this B&W image.

This is just brilliant Ace! Immediate impact. I wanted to rush and get a pliars to cut the chain immediately! But I couldn't quite see the other side. The colours, light, shadows, textures, wire, thorns...so symbolic. But I do cling to the hopefulness of the little bit of sawn wood and more space to get through on the right. Must go and write a poem- this is inspiring! Could have got this all wrong of course, but it is wonderful!

i can see cruelty through these dried chained trees and those thistle surrounded them which prevent us for reaching the other side, prevent us for entering the life with all its beauties!
